Today we’re excited to take you behind-the-scenes at Humanist Society Scotland. HSS is a registered charity and an experienced and trusted provider of humanist ceremonies in Scotland. Their celebrants love nothing more than creating a beautiful, bespoke ceremony, in a location you love, in a way that is just right for you. And it’s thanks to the campaigning efforts of HSS that couples can have a legal humanist wedding in Scotland.
During the low of lockdown, a dream team of Scottish wedding suppliers came together to give themselves a creative boost. The result was this romantic, modern and elegant shoot, which very nearly didn’t happen as weddings got the green light again and it was suddenly all go! Like many couples, Penny and Cameron had to pivot when Covid rained on their original wedding plans. They embraced the opportunity to have an intimate, outdoor micro wedding in Penny’s hometown on the Aberdeenshire coast. After Covid threw a curveball at their wedding plans, Paul and Steve were married in a romantic ceremony in the library at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. They then went for a delicious meal at a local restaurant with their 14 guests. Part two of the celebrations was a relaxed reception at their original venue choice, Cairns Farm Estate. With incredible views over the Pentland Hills, it was everything they had hoped for, and more. loading
