We Fell In Love has been part of Scotland’s wedding internet since 2012, sharing real weddings, useful advice and some of the brilliant people, places and ideas that make getting married here so bloody good.
We’re also home to the WFIL Fam – our community of Scottish wedding suppliers who connect, collaborate, support each other and generally make working in this slightly bonkers industry a lot less lonely.
For couples, that means a trusted place to discover brilliant Scottish wedding suppliers and get genuinely useful inspiration and advice.
For suppliers, it means being part of something bigger than your own business.

We want WFIL to reflect the glorious variety of people who get married in Scotland and the people who work in its wedding industry.
We believe Black lives matter. No person is illegal. Trans women are women and trans men are men. We’re anti-ableist and body positive. We believe in love over fear.
We’re committed to supporting and representing BIPOC communities, LGBTQIA+ people, disabled and neurodivergent people, multicultural weddings and people who are too often underrepresented by the wedding industry.
We’re a tiny independent business and we know that good intentions aren’t enough. We’ll keep learning, listening and doing the work – and if we get something wrong, you can tell us.
We want WFIL to be a place where good people feel welcome.
Giving back matters to us too. Each year our family of suppliers nominates a charity and a portion of their listing fees goes towards supporting this charity. For 2026 we are supporting Reverse Rett.

OUR TEAM
We’re Cat & Sarah, wedding planner, wedding photographer, WFIL owners and two people who are still very much working in the Scottish wedding industry.
Between us, we’ve got 25 years of wedding-industry experience and run five wedding businesses. When we took over We Fell In Love, we wanted to keep one of Scotland’s longest-running independent wedding platforms alive. Along the way, we realised the bit we loved most was bringing people together.
WFIL is us building the kind of wedding community we wish we’d had when we started.
WE FELL in love…
with each other!
We met on a blind mates date on Valentine’s Day in 2017. True story. A mutual pal thought we’d hit it off and, annoyingly, she was completely right.
Nine years later, we’re BFFs, work wives and business partners. Alongside our own businesses as a wedding planner and photographer, we run We Fell In Love and Wee Wild Weddings together.
Apparently one business together wasn’t enough.
WEE WILD WEDDINGS
In 2020 we started Wee Wild Weddings, giving couples a way to have tiny, wildly romantic Scottish weddings during… you know what.
More than 100 weddings later, it’s still going strong.

Sarah truly is an absolute joy. Her unwavering positivity and infectious smile makes it impossible to not be happy when she’s around! She’s also an incredible photographer with the ability to make anyone feel at ease in front of her camera. She’s my BFF & work wife – I genuinely love getting to work with her every single day & can’t imagine not having her in my life. She’s da best!

Cat literally lights up every room she walks into. She is full of energy and loves solving a problem – usually with her emergency kit of dreams! We seem to share a brain as we’re always on the same page which is why we’ve started so many businesses together! She is my work wife and BFF and I’m so excited to take WFIL to new and exciting places together!
