AN ELEGANT INDIAN WEDDING AT CULZEAN CASTLE

Maanika and Waqas opted for a two part wedding, so they could celebrate in true Indian style. Their wedding features in Issue Nine of our magazine and is making us smile lots!

“Our actual civil wedding was a year before in Lochside House Hotel and Spa, with only 20 people. Our civil ceremony was quite rustic with homemade favours and we did our own floral arrangements.”

“We instantly fell in love with Culzean castle, as soon as we drove into the grounds! It was the first venue we saw, and no other venue compared. We wanted a big Indian wedding celebration with 200 of our family and friends. We had to delay it due to Covid, but kept the same plans in place because we loved the venue so much!!”

“There were so many amazing moments. I remember being in my room getting ready and hearing the bagpipes downstairs while guests arrived – that’s when it finally started to feel real!!”
