We Fell In Love helps couples planning a modern, unique Scottish wedding connect with incredible people, places and spaces.
WFIL launched in 2012 and what an incredible journey it has been so far! Since then we’ve featured more than 500 unique and inspiring weddings, and we hear on a daily basis from couples based in Scotland, the UK and all across the world, who say they simply couldn’t have planned their Scottish wedding without this resource. So a huge thank you to everyone who has shared their wedding story with us!
In December 2018, our online indie magazine launched and immediately began trending. The magazine was published bi-annually until 2022 and is packed with real wedding inspiration. One of the reasons for launching the magazine was because we wanted to see love celebrated in all its diversity. And for all of our readers to feel seen and represented.
OUR VALUES
We believe in ALL love. That black lives matter. That no person is illegal. And all humans are equal. That love knows no borders. And trans women are women, just as trans men are men. We’re anti-ableist. And body positive. We believe in love over fear.
We’re an indie business with a tiny team (one most days!), but it’s important that we do more, to be the change we want to see in the world.
This includes continuing to educate ourselves in ways to be actively anti-racist and to better support BIPOC. And be a better ally to the LGBTQ+ community and underrepresented folks, including people with disabilities and visual differences. There is so much that we and the wedding industry as a whole must improve on. It’s lifelong work and we’re in it for the long haul.
We are working to make our (already warm and welcoming) online community of wedding businesses a truly safe space, and continue to share resources and discuss issues including diversity, equality and inclusion.

OUR TEAM
WFIL is led by Christina Golian, who loves to help couples connect with badass brands, incredible Scottish wedding creatives and makers, and amazing venues and places. She has been part of more than 300 weddings all over Scotland – from huge Scottish-Indian fusion weddings to tiny Highland elopements for two. When our readers are looking for something in particular, chances are she’ll know where to find it!
