Barry is a film ninja, crafting authentic and natural wedding films with a discreet and unobtrusive approach. He prefers to blend into the background and capture your day as it happens.
Born and raised in the North East of England, Barry grew up on the coast and spent many a happy time on the (cold) beaches searching through rock pools and digging holes in the sand. His university years took him to Edinburgh. After graduating and working in London for a couple of years, he made the move back to Scotland.
Fast forward a few years, and he is happily married and living in Scotland, a place he is proud to call home with his wife Laura, and daughter Rosa. Since filming his first wedding in 2013, Barry has experienced an incredible array of weddings days.
There’s something very special in telling the story of “you through film. Barry wants your wedding film to authentically represent who you are as a couple, and in turn your wedding day. He prefers the spontaneous, natural moments over anything particularly staged and will always try to capture your day as discreetly as possible.
