Monika is a celebrant who creates deeply personal wedding ceremonies in the wild beauty of Scotland. As a native German speaker, she can lead ceremonies in English, German, or a seamless blend of both.
Drawing inspiration from the wild beauty of the North-West Highlands, Monika Strell specialises in simple, meaningful ceremonies and outdoor weddings shaped by the landscape itself. She is known for creating a calm, steady atmosphere where even the quietest or most introverted couples feel completely at ease. Her ceremonies honour stillness as much as celebration, offering space for couples to be themselves without pressure or performance.
As a trained Interfaith celebrant, Monika works with couples from all faiths and none, weaving personal values and stories into ceremonies that reflect each couple’s unique way of loving. Her attentive, gentle approach ensures every ceremony is warm, authentic, and entirely personal.
Although the Highlands are home, with their wild coastlines and quiet, beautiful places to marry, Monika happily brings her outdoor expertise to couples across Scotland, creating ceremonies that feel grounded, genuine, and deeply connected.
