Mack Photo is the work of Glasgow based, architect turned photographer Lindsey Mackenzie Parker. Her work is all about capturing spaces and the people that inhabit them.
Lindsey studied architecture at Edinburgh College of Art where she had the opportunity to take classes in other fields. Photography was always her favourite and, after finishing her course, she continued to learn more about photojournalism, fashion photography and editing. These studies led her to photographing weddings which she has done for over 13 years, building up a wealth of experience at a wide variety of venues across Scotland.
Bringing her architectural influences to weddings, Lindsey’s approach is to take the time to get to know you both and the location of your wedding. Telling the story of your wedding is all about context, including all of the people you surround yourself with as well as the wedding location. Through the use of rich colours and romantic tones, Lindsey hopes to emphasise the beauty of how you experience important moments on your wedding day.
Lindsey aims to be as unobtrusive as possible, letting your wedding happen as you have planned it. This allows you to relax and spend quality time with those closest to you. We totally love the photos! We sat with a glass of wine last week and went through them all. Everything went by so fast on the day and it’s so nice to look back and remember it all properly. We especially love the shots on the beach and are so happy we managed to get out there in the end.
