Dough Man’s Land make handmade wood-fired pizzas from their gorgeous converted horsebox
Two brothers from Glasgow with a passion for food, people and the great outdoors decided to do something about their shared interests, and so one night over beer and pizza, Dough Man’s Land was born. They make handmade, wood-fired pizza from their converted vintage horsebox. It is bespoke, unique, and can be taken pretty much anywhere, which is handy because they love a ramble.
Their pizzas are made using only fresh, locally sourced ingredients, using an oven that can reach a temperature of over 500 degrees, meaning pizzas can be ready in under 90 seconds. As we can turn around pizzas so fast, it means we can cater for any event, which is also handy as we love a good knees-up.
As you can see, they have spent a lot of time designing and building their trailer to make it look as drop-dead gorgeous as possible. The interior features handcrafted wooden worktops throughout, accompanied by a state-of-the-art wood-fired oven. We hired Dough Man’s Land for our wedding evening food, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made for our day. The pizzas were unreal and went down so well with our guests, who told us it was the best pizza they had ever tasted. The guys were amazing and so friendly. We couldn’t recommend them enough!

Dough Man’s Land Pizza Wagon was the late-night catering for a fantastic wedding we attended at Dumfries House last weekend. (August 2025) 2 very friendly, chatty guys serving and making the pizzas. I have to say, normally I never eat pizza, I have just never found a pizza nice enough that I thought it was worth going to a restaurant or ordering takeaway for. I have now changed my mind. I had the most delicious mushroom, olive and truffle oil pizza, it was to die for. My husband was surprised that I ate pizza; he took a photo and sent it to our children. Highly recommend that you try their pizzas. I will travel through to Glasgow if my family wants to go out for pizza now.

We had Dough Man’s Land on site outside our office, providing lunch for 140 staff. Ryan was a dream to deal with, great communication in the lead-up to our event, amazing food, and just all-around great company to work with. If you are considering a food truck for a corporate or personal event, these are your guys. You will not be disappointed!
