Ballogie House is one of Aberdeenshire’s most romantic and tranquil exclusive-use wedding venues. It effortlessly combines the traditional Scottish Country House with a luxurious contemporary interior and is a perfect canvas for any wedding theme.
Ballogie House is a wedding venue in Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen & Deeside, Scotland. Set among stunning gardens and open parklands with uninterrupted views across the heart of the estate, it makes for an unforgettable backdrop for your special day.
Ballogie House is an exclusive-use venue that is available for both your ceremony and reception. It has a selection of event spaces for you to exchange vows and dance the night away. You can say I do outdoors with views of the rolling green hills before retreating to the magical glass-sided marquee, bursting with natural light. The marquee can accommodate up to 150+ for a sit-down dinner as well as a further 30 for a night of dancing. After a night of celebrating, you and your guests can rest in the comfortable and luxurious house, suitable for up to 14 guests, in seven spacious en-suite rooms.
The Ballogie House team works closely with their couples to create a unique and seamless experience while bringing their vision to life. They offer assistance from wedding coordinators and provide bar services from Dutch Courage, who can also work with you to create a bespoke bar menu, custom-made to suit your vision.
For evening entertainment, they have spaces for a live band, a DJ, and a dance floor so you and your loved ones can make memories while dancing the night away.

From the moment we stepped into Ballogie House, we knew it was the perfect place for our special day. The venue is an absolute gem, nestled in a picturesque location that feels like a fairy tale come to life. The staff at Ballogie were nothing short of amazing. Their professionalism and warmth made the planning process a breeze, and on the big day everything ran smoothly thanks to the coordinators. No task was too big or small and they went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and everyone was happy. Ballogie stood out to us for a number of reasons. Firstly, being able to have an outdoor ceremony – the stunning views provided the perfect backdrop for our vows. Another plus point was being able to have the use of Ballogie House from Thursday to Monday which allowed us to celebrate and remember the whole weekend with our friends and family. Our wedding was a magical experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to start our happily ever after.

An unforgettable weekend! We had an incredible weekend at Ballogie House! Charlotte, Molly and all of the staff were wonderful and so easy to chat to about what we wanted on the day. They also made everything run so smoothly on the day. The house, surrounded by hills and green forests was the perfect backdrop for the day. We could feel relaxed and at home, then ready to welcome everyone into the beautiful Orangery for the start of the celebrations. Coordinating our suppliers was easy as they all had a great relationship with the Ballogie Team. We could not have been happier with the venue, it’s a really special place.

We knew Ballogie was the place we wanted to get married from the first time we visited it. The house looks amazing, is immaculate inside and well set up for all your needs. The grounds and surrounding countryside are absolutely stunning and make for fantastic photos! The team at Ballogie were excellent from day one, guiding us with all the requirements for our wedding day and suggesting suppliers that would suit what we wanted. They made the process of coordinating all the suppliers easy and made all the set up go to plan. On the day they made sure things ran smoothly and we’re quick to break out the umbrellas when the one shower of the day threatened to dampen the ceremony (which it didn’t!). We were upset when we had to leaving on the Monday, as it had been such a happy time. So many great memories made and Ballogie will always have a place in our hearts!
