Planned in just a few weeks (fourth time lucky!), Lauren and Philip’s secret Highland micro wedding is proof that small and simple can be more than a little magical.
“We decided that if we weren’t going to have our big ceremony in a hotel, we wanted to do the exact opposite and have something totally different to those original plans. So rather than heels and fancy shoes, we all wore hiking boots and wellies and stomped about the hills!”
“On the morning of the wedding, Philip scouted out a location on the estate for us to get married. He chose underneath the Rowan Tree, which in Scottish folklore is where fairies live – it seemed lucky.”
