Simple, rustic & wild – A wondrous winter (un)wedding

FEATURING

If the current restrictions have led you to opt for a two part celebration, then prepare to be inspired by Lucy and Eamonn’s wondrous winter (un)wedding. In February 2020, they were married in a simple outdoor ceremony in Highland Perthshire, followed by a party in Glasgow the next day.

“We wanted something simple, small and beautiful. It was important to us that Scotland would be the backdrop of our day and play a major role visually and in all the wee details.”

“We didn’t want anything overly complicated. In fact, anything that did become complicated was dropped swiftly. We weren’t planning a ‘wedding’ ultimately… we wanted to be married but have an amazing story to tell about the day it happened. Our wedding ended up being over two days just with the way things worked out.”
