Thinking of a family minimoon? Or need a break from wedding planning and fancy a bit of a pamper? We may have just found the perfect spot for you! I enjoyed a glorious few days away at Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village. And while I’m well past the ‘just married’ stage (our ten year anniversary has just passed), I realised that it would be the ideal spot for a minimoon / hen party / break from the trials and tribulations of wedding planning.
Drawing inspiration from Italian weddings and the Pacific Coast, Evelyn and Robert tied the knot in an intimate city wedding before heading out into the woods for these gorgeous photos. Something tells us you may fall a little in love with Evelyn’s bespoke dress, which is a nod to her love of iconic 80s bridal style.
Inspired by Scottish wedding traditions and culture, plus their mutual love of Harry Potter, Rachel and Callum married in a venue that holds fond memories for their family. After riding the Covid-coaster to the aisle (remember those days?!), they were so happy to be able to say I do.
Inspired by chidlhood dreams of ruined castles and a deep love of Scotland, Jess and Alfie tied the knot in a beautiful glen near Edinburgh. Their elopement is full of atmospheric fantasy vibes and wonderful thrift finds, and features the most delicious vegan cake.
After falling in love with Sorn Castle, Nic and Danny planned the traditional Scottish wedding of their dreams from 5,000 miles away. Their elegant, fun-filled day is making us smile. loading
