Melodie + Chris
are getting married!!!

For the last three months, we have really looked forward (with eager anticipation) to Mel and Chris’ weekly updates on
We Fell In Love. They have been written with realism, humour and a genuineness that has made us all fall in love with these two.
So as they get ready to say I do today we thought we’d take a look back over some highlights of the last few weeks and months.

The one where they found out they’d won…
Remember Mel and Chris’ story? We were bowled over by how much they threw themselves into the competition. Chris even donned a dress for the occasion. Did these two ever deserve to win or what? In Mel’s own words when she found out they’d won “At the start of the year I hadn’t even thought about getting married, and was still in shock after Chris popping the question on Valentine’s Day in Australia. Now were getting married in 3 months!”

The one where Mel asked her best girls to be bridesmaids…
We love Mel’s style. From the beginning her bridesmaids have been a key part of her wedding planning. Remember how she asked them? With a
bridesmaids survival kit. Love it! We have no doubt that Megs and Sheree will be a fantastic support for Mel today, as well as looking pretty darned hot…

The one where they went to Hopetoun House for the first time…
We adored the description of their first visit to
Hopetoun House and meeting with the lovely Lara. It was a huge moment for Mel and Chris and we lived through their excitement with them. ““I couldn’t even think of the words to describe how unbelievably historic, prestigious, facsinating and timely it is all down to the finest detail. What an absolute honour to be able to use this for our wedding day! I’m not being funny but I’ve been to Windsor Castle and Hopetoun House is in a different league! (sorry Lizzy!)”

The one where they got attached by midgies…
Remember how beautiful Mel and Chris’
engagement shoot was? From the magical pictures by
Elemental Weddings, to how much we giggled as Mel recounted midgie dodging, we loved their weekend escape to the Trossachs. If this is how well they nailed their engagement shots, just imagine how out-of-this-world their wedding photographs are going to be…
We are wishing Mel and Chris all the luck and love in the world today as they toe the knot. We’re also beyond excited to hear all about it… Guess where you’ll read all about it first? Alie x
