It’s a winter wonderland here today, so a snow day could just be on the cards… But before we layer up and enter the world of white, here’s what we’re loving this week.

Today we’re travelling to Fife, where WFIL reader Kirsty wore a vintage dress to tie the knot with Rob in a Victorian country house, followed by a relaxed celebration in a fairy light festooned village hall. With nods to the music they love and glow-in-the-dark balloons to get the dancefloor going, it was one very fun day.
We are very excited today to introduce you to our new guest blogging bride! We received so many incredible entries for our competition, but what we really loved about Morgan’s was her total honesty and breathless excitement – she is a self-confessed anxious bridezilla when it comes to her big day (we’re sure many of you can relate!). We cannot wait to hear how her wedding journey unfolds!
If you love photography that is natural, soft and romantic with a fine art edge, then The Gibsons are sure to have caught your eye. Today we’re catching up with Chantal, who – after turning her lifelong obsession with photography into a business – now travels all over Scotland (and the world!) chasing beautiful light and capturing incredible moments with her husband, Scott. And while Glasgow is home these days, getting to return to the Manitoban prairies of Canada to shoot weddings is an added bonus.

David and Scott’s wedding was filled with autumnal magic and more than a little rustic romance. We love that they did it their way: including eating both desserts and having a murder mystery as evening entertainment. Yup, we know you’re going to be inspired…
How can it possibly be February already?! Or maybe we should rephrase that, for those of you who were doing Dry January this year… So far we are loving the look of this month! Not only have we had lots of (very beautiful) new submissions, but we will also have an exciting update on our new guest bloggers soon. Oh and did we mention our new look blog is coming soon? It’s all a little bit too exciting! For now, here’s what we’re loving this week…

For Gemma and David’s wedding, think festival weekend rather than wedding day. With the ceremony celebration on the Friday the Saturday was full festival mode, with the parents presenting and family and friends providing supporting acts. It’s the kind of wedding celebration you wouldn’t want to leave. And like all good festivals there were wellies…
