Anyone else feel like December is whizzing by? After feeling fairly on top of things, I’m realising that I… no longer own a Christmas jumper (I blame Marie Kondo), have only written four cards and still have a broken oven (don’t judge me, it’s only been 8 months since we moved in!) . Will somebody please pass the mulled wine…
Christmas jumper love
Hello Blue Sky!
Have you spotted the shiny new website from Blue Sky Photography? Not only are their wedding photos goosebump-inducing (so very beautiful!), but I love that you can also pick up a gift voucher for the Blue Sky Academy photography workshops while you’re there. Perfect if you’re looking for a gift for a photography lover (or if you’d like to treat yourself!).
Quote of the Week
“Gareth and I met just under two years ago through Plenty of Fish. I had given up on meeting anyone in real life, thanks to my male friends being either a) married or b) gay. After umpteen utterly disastrous dates via PoF and Tinder, I remember turning up to our first date, and just thinking: “Yes” (and also “Thank God!”).” – Abigail.
This week we met our new guest blogging brides, Abigail and Sarah. We know that you’ll be just as excited as we are to follow their wedding planning journeys.
This week I’ve been mostly…
1: Looking forward to hitting the Christmas markets and mulled wine with my besties after a week of flu-induced cabin fever.
2: Regretting my decision to take a trip to Ikea for a few “essentials” now that boxes are piled up all over our house. This bamboo plant stand though!
3. Feeling excited to see my brilliant friend, Morna Pearson’s new play – How To Disappear – at the Traverse this weekend.
4. Listening to Gwen Stefani’s new Christmas album, but quickly deciding I prefer her ska punk sound from the No Doubt days (still got a mad girl crush though!).
5. Mulling over what to wear to the UK Blog Awards – if you can take a moment to head here and give us a quick vote, we’ll love you forever!
Hands up if you’re feeling very weekend-ready? Thought so! Christina x
