Our Top 10 Wedding Photos

One of our favourite things each month is getting to look back on all the incredible love stories and beautiful weddings that have featured on We Fell In Love. From relaxed weddings-for-two to grand Scottish castle celebrations, November was full of heartfelt moments and lots of joy and laughter too. Here are our highlights…

1. Joshua & Elisha’s Hebrides wedding

From the handfasting ceremony on the white sands to the intimate celebration that followed, we loved Joshua & Elisha’s Scottish island wedding. Of all the walks they will take together, we suspect this will be the one that stands out the most.

2. Claire & Ewan’s secret elopement

There were so many things we loved about Claire & Ewan’s spring elopement – especially the fact that they took the dogs for a walk and secretly got married along the way. This photo makes us feel like we were there. All the feels!

3. Karen & Peter’s wild woodland wedding

Inspired by wild, untamed flowers and a vintage look, Karen and Peter embraced the family tartan and added plenty of hits of bold colour into their day. This photo of the two of them, with their besties, made us smile lots.

4: Georgia & Allan’s barn wedding

After first meeting on a train, these two got engaged by a harbour and had their wedding in a giant cowshed. We loved the way they brought the outside in, with florals, greenery and romantic touches. This photo was one of our favourites from their day – it captures so much love.

5. Stephanie & Matthew’s country house celebration

We loved everything about Stephanie & Matthew’s relaxed country house wedding. The Scottish weather behaved perfectly and they were able to go exploring off-road, for beautiful photos like this.

6. Paddy and Rachel’s St Patricks’s Day wedding

Paddy and Rachel combined elements of their Scottish and Canadian roots to create a personal day with a relaxed, fun vibe. They wanted a style of photography that felt real and unstaged, and we think this photo sums that up perfectly.

7. Maureen & Pieter’s quintessentially Scottish wedding

Everything about their day made us smile, including the impromptu cheeky ice-cream shared on the way to the reception. And we especially loved that Maureen was able to design the dress she’d been dreaming of – pockets and all.

8. Nicola and Steven’s whisky themed day

Filled with personal touches, and a whole lot of smiles, Nicola & Steven’s day was a joy to share. We loved that after embracing the rain, they were able to get gorgeous photos like this.

9. Keely & Jason’s rugged and romantic elopement

After struggling to find the perfect setting for their big day at home in Melbourne, Keely & Jason decided to combine their honeymoon and wedding in one trip. The way these two talk about Scotland makes us feel so very proud to call this place home. And as for their photos… we would have happily picked them all if we could have!
