Wedding Wraps

For all those planning a winter wedding (and those being realistic about the average temperature in Scotland), we’ve pulled together a little go-to guide of some of our favourite bridal cover-ups.

A classic shrug is all about keeping it chic. For some added colour (particularly perfect for autumn) how about this Maya Fur Wrap from ASOS?

Or with its gorgeous waterfall effect, this goat hair cape from Halfpenny London is something special (Net a Porter).

Jenny Packham’s short sleeved works well to slip on over a sleeveless dress. Or there’s Monsoon’s Luvenia cape  which we’ve also taken a shine to.

Round the Neck

If you’re after something neater, simply to slip on as you step outside, or for a finishing evening touch, then how about these. T-B, L-R: John Lewis Silver Faux Fur, Jasper Conran’s ivory shrug from Debenhams, or from BHLDN, this faux fur collar.

Short Jackets

If you’re after a jacket, how about one of these. L-R: Snow Leopard from ASOSRime Arodaky from Net-a-Porter, or this Fur Elixir Coat from ASOS.

The added bonus with these is that you could get so much use out of them after the wedding (just saying!)

Full Length Cover-ups

For the full length option we are loving: Rocksanda from Net-a-Porter; this ivory hooded Bridal Cape and this super-soft looking vintage inspired fur wrap (both Not on the High Street)

Planning a winter wedding? We’d love to hear your outfit of choice to keep the chill away. Alie x
