Friday Loves

As we ease ourselves into the weekend, we’re starting to get our Hygge on. Despite the slightly odd warm autumn weather, we’re ready to start planning cosy nights in and (as always) have one eye on the next celebration…

Fairytale Elopement

Angela and Matthew’s fairytale castle elopement had us all swooning this week. So simple and so perfect. Go and check it out if you’ve not seen it.

Quote of the Week

We loved catching up with guest blogger Hannah, one year after her intimate DIY wedding. Most of all we love how these two are embracing married life:

“Waking up beside my favourite person each morning is something I’ll never get bored of. And spending our time together: cooking, eating, cycling or planning our next holiday. And I still get butterflies when David calls me his wife.”

Marriage looks good on these two.

Welcome to the Collection

This week we are also delighted to introduce two new members of our WFIL collection.

The breathtaking Talla Na Mara. Think remote and vast expanses of golden sandy beaches (island heaven). The venue is owned by the local community and managed by a team of professional staff who will extend a traditional Hebridean welcome to you and your guests.

And Weddings by Hayley and Craig. These two are a husband and wife photography team who are all about capturing weddings with their natural style, and exploring new places. Their work is beautiful so be sure to take a peek.

Stoked to have these two on board.

Autumn

Five things I’ve been doing this week:

1: Exploring the Enchanted Forest. For a whole month Faskally Woods in Pitlochry are transformed at night into the most magical place, complete with light, sound and the chance to toast marshmallows by an open fire (best thing ever).
2: Diving into the new poetry collection from Atticus, called ‘Love her Wild’. He writes so beautifully.
3: Goal setting. Something which becomes more fun the more I link it to my dreams and force myself to think bigger.
4: Planning my next roller disco (told you I’m taking this thing seriously!)
5: Burning the scent of Autumn from the White Company (love this candle)

With half-term next week I’m looking forward to a few days downtime. Hope you find some chill time this weekend. Alie x
