Dreamcatchers Styled Shoot
Crochet to tulle and a little bit of lace? We are still swooning over this shoot. With the dreamcatcher as muse, this creative team created a day which came alive in the rustic barn setting. So much to fall in love with. Enjoy this #ThrowbackThursday post!
Tell us about the inspiration behind the shoot?
Catching dreams was originally envisioned as a sun drenched beach shoot in the height of summer. However, being Scotland, the weather decided it had somewhere better to be and gave us the wettest, dullest day of the year.
Dalduff Barn came to our rescue and we soon turned it around and took a slightly different approach to the style and feel of the images, in the end we feel it worked to our advantage.
And how about the dresses and styling?
Emily wanted to show off some of the gowns that are exclusive to Unbridled Boutique in the UK, so latching on to the bohemian feel of the gowns, we adopted the dream catcher as our muse.
A slight hint of western in the colour scheme of golds, oranges, muted pinks and throwing in succulents and chevrons. A huge stunning macrame by Botanica Home draped in the back ground worked perfectly with the rustic walls, rusting corrugated iron and hay bales.
So beautiful! More dogs in floral collars please! Christina x
