Friday Loves

How on earth did Friday creep up so quickly? And where has March arrived from? We’re already starting to feel more than a little bit spring-like, so our thoughts are turning to how we can look fresh-faced and shake the winter lethargy. Anyone else with us?

Our new look

Wow – what a week it’s been. We are loving our new look We Fell In Love Collection and have been blown away by the feedback from you all. We’re so chuffed that you love it as much as we do.

As well as being super pretty and elegant we’re also delighted to have so many fantastic wedding suppliers on there. If you’ve not already checked it out then hop along just now and have a look for yourselves. Each and every member has been handpicked and rated by our blog readers – what better endorsement do you need?

Be warned you could loose yourself in their for at least an hour or so…

The Scottish Master Photographer’s Association Awards

Last Sunday saw the annual Scottish Master Photography Awards take place. The uber-talented and super lovely Margaret Soraya not only won Landscape Photographer of the Year (honestly her landscapes are breathtaking), but she was also crowned Scottish Master Photographer of the Year. Massive congratulations to Margaret.

In other awards Niels of Blue Sky Photography scooped the Commercial and Industrial Photographer of the Year award with a rather tempting photograph of some cheesecake brownies. Well done Niels – we’re still waiting to sample that tray of brownies by the way!

And this week also saw the Scottish Wedding Awards take place. Huge congratulations to Ryan White Photography and Eye Candy Scotland who took home wins. Woo hoo!

Both are members of our We Fell in Love Collection so be sure to check out their work.

Spring Pick-Me-Up

As our thoughts turn to spring, we’re also thinking of some seasonal pick-me-ups. From facials to pedicures we are always up for a bit of TLC.

At the moment we’ve had rather a few late nights (parenthood and running your own business will do that to you!) so we’re thinking of ingenious ways to battle those puffy eyes.

There are the old traditions of cucumber or cold tea-bags under the eyes (apparently they work a treat?), but we’re always in look for new solutions. This month I’m giving Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye a go so I’ll let you know how I get on.

Oh and if anyone else has any top tips please send them our way…

We hope you have a chilled weekend and take time to enjoy a little bit of tlc. Alie x
