“My main idea for this shoot was to create an emotive photo story with an original bridal theme,” says photographer, Eve. “Styled shoots are ideal for us wedding suppliers to showcase a variety of skills and ideas and perhaps to further inspire our future brides to be.
“After some thoughtful planning and organising, we all headed off to the stunning Myres Castle – situated in Auchtermuchty, Fife. Its magnificent gardens provided us with plenty of beautiful surroundings to work with.
“Our main aim was to create an elegant and bohemian vibe, through working with luxurious fabrics and stunning lace gowns, and a selection of unique Earthy jewellery – handmade from gemstone crystals, agate and jade. Everything fitted perfectly with the theme – from the beautiful rustic looking bouquets and floral curtain to the three tier cake with layers of tangy lemon curd and lemon butter icing between the sponges.
“To keep in with the theme, the hair and make-up was a mixture of subtle and edgy, with pretty floral crowns and hair ups and a variety of braids and wind swept loose curls.”
