We’re In Love
Here’s what has caught our eye this week
On the venue hunt this weekend? The rather fabulous Kinross House is holding a Spring Wedding Showcase tomorrow and Sunday (April 2nd and 3rd) from 1-4pm.
With its stunning setting, magnificent rooms, beautiful grounds and a fabulous Coach House where you can also hold your reception, this historic house is so worth checking out! The Kinross House team will be on hand to offer wedding tips and advice, award winning caterers, Hickory will be providing delicious vintage styled afternoon teas, accompanied by a glass of chilled Prosecco, and you’ll also get to meet lots of suppliers, including the uber talented First Light Photography.
You can find more details on the Kinross House wedding Facebook page.
Have you spotted the new website from one of our favourite faces on the Scottish wedding circuit, Roddy the Piper this week?
Aside from his amazing skills on the bagpipes, some of the things we love about Roddy are his spirited haggis address and his great banter (guaranteed to entertain your guests).
Not only was Roddy the piper for Mel & Chris’ WFIL wedding, but he has also piped a haggis out of the sea in the Maldives – one of the world’s most remote Burns suppers – and has also played the bagpipes on the Great Wall of China. Book him quick, we say!
And finally, how about a Wee Nosey around an alternative, DIY-friendly Scottish wedding venue?
We have already fallen in love with Comrie Croft (check out Nena & Shane’s festival-themed wedding) and were excited to hear they will be opening their doors for their first wedding fair, aptly called a Wee Nosey, on April 17th.
If you fancy popping along to have a peak at the renovated Cow Shed, hear some live music, perhaps enjoy a drink or two at the bar, and have a blether with the team, then you can register here.
