It’s Friday

We’re In Love

Here’s what has caught our eye this week

Is it just us, or are the weeks suddenly feeling shorter than ever? But, on the plus side, that means that Friday is here – woop! This week we were beyond excited to share the photographs of #WFILwedding winners Mel and Chris’ Magical Winter Wedding. A wedding day that was above and beyond beautiful…

If you missed it, then here’s how their day unfolded… That dress, those flowers, and the cake – oh my!!! Not to mention all the gorgeous sparkle and the fireworks finale. If you’re planning a winter wedding or looking for styling ideas, there’s so much inspiration here.

Mel, we miss your weekly wedding planning updates already!

We’re just back from a cheeky pre Christmas trip to Copenhagen, which we’ll be blogging about in full very soon. But suffice to say that while there, we spent more than a little time observing the effortlessly cool Danes going about their daily lives, mostly by bike as it happens.

And we also fell in love with the following things – Woden trainers (you can get yours at Joyce Paton in South Queensferry), cashmere pom pom hats (Kakao by K in Edinburgh have some exquisite ones but be quick, they’re selling fast) and salty Haribo. More on that later…

Newly engaged and just starting your wedding planning journey? Firstly, a huge congratulations from the whole WFIL team! We’re so happy you’ve found us and we can’t wait to guide you through this exciting time.

From Scotland’s best wedding venues to styling ideas to top supplier recommendations, we’re here to help and inspire over the coming months. And be sure to keep an eye out for a very exciting opportunity we’ll be launching in the New Year too. We can’t wait to share all the details, but until then – happy weekend!

Stunning wedding! The photo’s look beautiful! I love the mr&mrs cake figures – they keep the tradition but add a little style and modernity to the cake. Think it’s beautiful!ReplyCancel
