The Stag and The Hen!
It’s an exciting and slightly revealing week this week, as Susan and Al let slip a little of what went on on the Stag and the Hen. We’re saying nothing on the outfits of choice, but at least the sunburn will heal Al…
“I’m happy to announce that I survived my stag weekend in one piece. Susan was pleased that rules for the weekend had been adhered to, ‘just bring him back with hair and eyebrows’. I do have one lasting mark from the weekend though, ‘interesting’ sunburn marks from my ‘sexy’ cheerleader outfit. The sunburn will heal thankfully but I’m not sure the embarrassment of the outfit will leave me for a while! It was a lovely outfit consisting of bright pink hot pants that said ‘foxy’ on the back of them, pink ankle warmers, a tiny lycra dress, a bright red wig and the obligatory pom-poms! Revenge was sweet for Stuart after I dressed him up in a similar fashion for his stag do last year. The best men did a great job of organising it. Big thank you to them both!”
“The first night involved completing a series of challenges, from chatting up a girl in a foreign language (very easy when abroad!) to borrowing a pair of high heels (not so easy when you have size 13 feet).
The second day was all about the beer bike! Highly recommended for any stag/hen parties off to Amsterdam. We couldn’t resist stopping in at Susie’s Saloon. Not sure it’s my Susie’s sort of bar. It was more hairy biker than classy cocktails!”
“Susan also had the first of her hen do’s! The unclassy night out in Glasgow organised by her friends Lucy and Claire. Here she is to tell you more…”
“Why have one hen do when you can have two?! Next weekend is my classy hen weekend with the mums and friends relaxing in a 5* house in the countryside. However I was also keen to have an altogether less classy night out in Glasgow. It began with a lovely high tea in a cute tea room called Cushion and Cake where we drank tea and made fascinators. I had a bit of a disaster when my crown fell off my front tooth, which had everyone crying with laughter, but thankfully I put it back in ok – PHEW!!!”
“Afterwards we went on to Lucy’s flat where Claire and Lucy were waiting with LOTS of hilarious games planned, and a surprise butler! We went on to a 1980’s themed bar and danced the night away. It certainly was one crazy night and I’m so grateful to Lucy and Claire for going to so much effort. Hope you enjoy the pictures!”
Two hen dos? Why not indeed? Anyone else planning to split the raucous from the classy and have a pre-wedding do for both camps? Alie x
