City Chic Wedding
A weekend of chilling sounds just what these two need as the wedding to-do list grows. From helping Dad with kilt shopping, to selecting Susan’s hair and make-up artist, it’s been another busy week in wedding world.
“We enjoyed a weekend in Inverness catching up with Susan’s parents Linda and Willie. Linda has her outfit all sorted and we went along with Willie to get him fitted for a kilt. This is the first time he’s worn one and we hope you’ll agree it really suits him!
“We also went for a beautiful walk in Glen Affric with family friends and it was lovely to relax in the countryside. Susan nicknamed her Mum and Dad’s house, ‘Rancho Relaxo’ as it’s very peaceful and quiet as it’s surrounded by nature!”
“Susan’s delighted that her hairdresser is available for Bridal hair on the day and will also do the rest of the bridal party’s hair. She’s been loyal the Lunatic Fringe for years and I even go there now too! She’s also booked her makeup artist, Claire Huskie, after personal recommendation from a friend.”
“I have a week off before starting my new job and it’s rapidly filling up with wedding tasks! So far I’ve submitted the marriage forms and we’ve started writing our evening invites and hope to have them in the post by the end of the week. I’m also going to start making the favours and putting together our fun boxes for the tables”
“We’re excited to be meeting Capella at Arta to discuss where they’ll set up and the songs they’ll play. We’ve been listening to a CD Susan picked up at a wedding fair at Arta back in March and we can’t wait to hear them on the day! It’s a shame we’ll miss some of it when we are our getting photos done, but our guests are in for a treat.”
‘Rancho Relaxo’ sounds like the perfect place to chill out in between wedmin. Anyone else got any top tips for taking time out? Alie
