Real Scottish

weddings – Part 1

We hope you had a very Merry Christmas! And a huge congratulations and welcome to all you newly engaged peeps, who are joining us for the first time. Over the next few posts we’ll be looking back at some of our favourite real Scottish weddings from 2013. From rustic barn weddings to rock n roll inspired revelries, we’ve loved bringing you daily inspiration from Scotland’s most beautiful and creative weddings.

Loch Lomond was the sunny backdrop to Angela and Zach’s vintage inspired wedding. With more than a hint of Hollywood glamour and plenty of personalised details, this Scottish-Canadian union is sure to inspire. (Photos by Chantal Lachance Gibson)

We loved the way that classic style met DIY details in Emma and Rob’s laid-back celebration. Plus the fact that it all began with a blind date… (Photos by Zoe Campbell Photography)

We love a barn wedding here at We Fell In Love HQ, and wish we had been guests at Ruth & Derek’s very fun big day. Drawing on garden parties, vintage style, wildflowers and lace for inspiration, they created a celebration full of pretty details and personal moments. (Photos by Soraya Photography)

Few settings could be more Scottish than a centre dedicated to bagpipes! Add in a fabulous 1950s style dress and lots of quirky DIY touches, and you’ll see why we’re loving Sarah and Scott’s wedding style. (Photos by Struve Photography)

Inspired by everything from Catholic iconography to vintage tattoo design, Gillian and Noel’s Edinburgh wedding was packed full of personality. If you like your weddings with plenty of rock n roll and red roses, you’ll love their style. (Photos by Elemental Weddings)
So many different, yet all beautiful, big days here! Join us tomorrow for part two. And we’d love to hear from you if We Fell In Love has inspired your wedding style. Alie x
