A day filled with cupcakes, cookies and a polaroid camera is sure to be a winner with everyone. For Lindy and Jonathan having lots of time with family and friends was top priority…

Who saw who first?
We were introduced on a night out by our friends who later became the best man and one of the bridesmaids
WE WERE INSPIRED BY…
My little brother’s wedding which was last year in Maine in America. It was over several days and we loved having loads of time to catch up with everyone.
HOW DID YOU PERSONALISE YOUR WEDDING DAY?
Cupcakes, cookies, Polaroid camera, a bonfire and fireworks.

WHAT WAS ON YOUR WEDDING MENU?
Salmon then beef or goats cheese and artichokes for all the vegetarians (including me) followed by chocolate mousse.
First dance – sedate shuffle or choreographed routine?
We were very disorganised and chose ‘Your Song’ two days before the wedding! The band Graffiti Park were amazing & learnt it on the drive up to Scotland.
What is your advice for future brides and grooms?
Don’t stress. Delegate early, everyone wants to help.

WHERE DID YOU SPEND YOUR WEDDING NIGHT?
In Ackergill Tower.
What is the one thing you’ll never forget about your big day?
Seeing all our friends and family all dressed up as I walked into Sinclair’s Palace as we walked down the aisle & thinking how lucky I was.
Why Scotland?
Because it’s beautiful and magical and it was an adventure for everyone.
Bonfire and fireworks make for a great ending to your wedding day. Are you planning any evening surprises? Alie x
