Inspiration

The word bohemian has become synonymous with all things laid-back, relaxed and free-spirited. Today we take a peek into the simply sublime new collection from Corrine Smith Design, guaranteed to inspire all brides-to-be looking for a little bit of boho…

Corrine is one-super talented lady as she makes all of her products by hand using stunning swarovski crystals, diamante, freshwater and faux pearls. Girls – doesn’t the sound of those words make you drool?
Corrine has been desiging for brides for over 9 years and has justifiably been recognised by many top industry awards, including the Scottish VOWS awards, which she has won consecutively for the last 5 years.

The 2013/14 ‘Enchanted Collection’ from Corrine Smith will literally turn your heads. Bohemian in essence, the range of headdresses are designed to be individual, romantic and free spirited. We think they’ve hit the mark perfectly.
“I wanted to create designs that encapsulate a mix of themes that I personally love, and rather than look to the vintage era’s of the 1920’s and 30’s, I have taken a lot of inspiration from the 1970’s. Brow bands feature heavily in this collection and I hope they bring a fun and free spirited side to the ensemble.” says Corrine. And for all of the inner disco queens inside us, that’s quite exciting…
I just love how Corrine has taken inspiration from the seventies for her new collection. What’s caught your eye? Alie x
