HOW DID YOU PERSONALISE YOUR WEDDING DAY?
In lots of ways… including beginning the day with a warming glass of mulled wine for the guests on arrival, an autumnal theme to the styling including leaves in the aisle, and a movie theme for the tablenames and music played during the meal.
What was on your wedding menu?
Starter – ‘The Scottish Tapas Trio’ crumbed haggis with salad of heritage range potatoes, creamy dunsyre blue parfait, mull cheddar and chutney glazed smoked haddock; Main – Duo of aged Highland gold beef; roasted fillet and slow cooked shin with green beans, chantenay carrots & sweet potato fries;Dessert – Chocolate praline fondant pudding with vanilla ice cream.
FIRST DANCE – CHOREOGRAPHED ROUTINE OR SEDATE SHUFFLE?

Honeymoon or Mini-Moon?
Honeymoon in the Maldives.
WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR FUTURE BRIDES?
Stay cool calm and collected. We organised our wedding in three months and it was just the way we wanted it. There were no compromises, so it can be done. Long engagements are boring!
WHAT WAS THE ONE THING YOU’LL NEVER FORGET ABOUT YOUR BIG DAY?
Being so happy from beginning to end!
The bride is Scottish and we live here and love Scotland. Great venue too!
How much are we loving the colours and the styling of Mhairi and Matt’s wedding? If you’re planning an autumn wedding, we’d love to know what you’re planning…
