Here’s what has caught our eye this week

It’s a big day for the Scottish wedding industry. The Nominee shortlist for the VOWS Awards 2012 has just been announced – see full details here.

The VOWS (Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier) Awards recognise excellent customer service in the Scottish wedding industry and are voted for by brides and grooms.

The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony hosted by Keith Chegwin at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel on October 29th. We Fell In Love are delighted to sponsor the event and will be bringing you all the results and behind the scenes news on the night. Huge congratulations to all the nominees!

The glamour, mystery and drama of some of the world’s most striking fashion photographs are on display in Dundee, in a major exhibition from the V&A due to open today.

Selling Dreams: One Hundred Years of Fashion Photography‘ is being held at The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery and Museum, ahead of the opening of the V&A at Dundee.

The exhibition runs until January 6th and features work by giants of 20th century photography including Edward Steichen, Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton and David Bailey, alongside contemporary images.

 

One of Glasgow’s most chic and stylish wedding venues is hosting an open day this Sunday (September 30th).

29 Private Members Club in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow will open its doors from noon until 5pm.
