Wedding Favours

The world of wedding favours has lots to offer. Gone are the days of sugared almonds – we love the variety and personality of these little gifts. With everything from handmade treats to donations to your favourite charity, here are some of the ideas we’ve spotted…

For your Scottish wedding, what could be better than some malt whisky for each of your guests to take home? You can pick your favourite, personalise the bottle with your names, or even pop a mini kilt on it.

Or you could opt for other boozy miniatures for the guys and the gals. And how about a nod to your heritage at the same time? From French Champagne to Welsh whisky. And we love this Scots/Canadian/Dutch combo – with whisky & rye, topped off with clogs, and delicious maple syrup for the kids.

We love these personal favours. From homemade candles, to Granny’s chutney recipe or that special Scottish tablet.

If you know your guests have a sweet tooth then there is a plethora of treats, from traditional sweeties to chocolate. The teddy bears and the gingerbread men will be a great hit with young and old alike.

Another fun idea is favours that will break the ice and help get the party started – after all, how can you be short of words when you find yourself sitting next to Audrey Hepburn, or a man with a rather roguish moustache?

One of your guests may go home a whole lot richer, with a lottery scratchcard. So long as they promise to share, right? Or, there’s the altruistic option of gifting money to your favourite charity and leave your guests a little message. We love the idea of quotes on marriage.
