Romantic intimate wedding with a treehouse

An hour or so north of Glasgow lies a romantic hideaway, complete with a treehouse overlooking the loch. With the sound of water lapping and the smell of wood burning, you can imagine how relaxed this intimate wedding was.

Love at first sight or gradual attraction?
First came friendship, then came love.
How was the question popped?
Nathan had arranged a hot air balloon ride at dawn and then took me to the beach, where he proposed with a beautiful ring that he had designed.
Honeymoon or mini-moon?
Mega-moon. One week in Kruger National Park, South Africa and then one week in the Maldives – absolute bliss.
Close your eyes and think of your wedding day…now – describe it in three words…
Intimate, loving, perfect.
Why Scotland?
We have lived in Australia for four years and still love going home to Scotland – especially the west coast. It is where our family and most of our friends live and where some of our greatest memories come from – even more so true since our wedding day.
Favourite thing about being hitched?
Being able to call each other husband and wife – for us it felt awkward calling our other half our fiancé(e) or partner – it just didn’t feel right.
